Rental Terms of Use and Policies


Our goal at Seaside Setup is to provide you with anything you need to have a stress-free, safe and comfortable visit to the beaches that we serve. If you have any issues, big or small, before or during your visit, please let us know. We want to help resolve it to your satisfaction.

Liability Waiver Statement

As the Renter, you agree to assume any and all liability associated with the use of this rental equipment. Seaside Setup is not responsible for any injury resulting from the use of any rental equipment.

Environmental Policy

Where possible we use environmentally and ocean-friendly solutions. Our chairs are either made from recycled products or will be recycled when we retire them. Any sunscreens or other products are certified as reef friendly. Our vehicles are well-maintained and eco-friendly. We use botanically based disinfectants to prevent the spread of viruses and other bacteria.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

Seaside Setup voluntarily follows guidelines established by the CDC and Hospitality industry. Rental equipment is laundered, pressure-washed and wiped with disinfectant between each use. It is our commitment to provide safe and germ-free beach rental equipment to each customer.


Our Seaside Setup service equipment is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time on the rental days. If you want to have the equipment set up outside of these hours, early morning, or evening, please contact us with the details. Although it isn’t universal, most beaches in South Florida close at sunset and all equipment needs to be removed prior to sunset. Backpack chairs or a la cart rented items will be delivered to your location on the day of your arrival. Arrangements for pickup will be made at that time.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is prohibited on most of the beaches in South Florida. Here is a link to the laws within the City of Fort Lauderdale. Please check local ordinances if you are outside of Fort Lauderdale.

Damage Statement

As the Renter, you agree to replace any damaged, lost or stolen property including towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, games, tables or any other item rented from Seaside Setup.

Replacement cost for lost, stolen, or damaged items is as follows:

  • Backpack chair- $75
  • Backpack umbrella – $75
  • Premium beach chair- $150
  • Premium beach chair footrest – $35
  • Premium umbrella- $175
  • Cornhole game- $200
  • Cornhole bean bags – $10 each
  • Cabana/tent – $200
  • Towels (each) – $15
  • Dry bag – $15
  • Coolers – $75
  • Beach Cart – $150
  • Mister – $150
  • Beach solar power kit – $200

Repairs or removal of excessive dirt or stains will be billed based on the cost of the repair or cleaning.

*The list above is not exhaustive and only includes commonly lost or stolen items. Any other item that is provided from Seaside Setup or via the concierge service is lost, stolen or damaged, Renter will be responsible for paying the replacement fee.

Items such as sunscreen and ice are provided as resale services and Seaside Setup is not responsible for their use or suitability.

Cancellation Policy Statement 

Orders cancelled more than one week prior to delivery will receive a full refund less any transaction fees. If you cancel within a week of delivery, you will be refunded 50% of the total amount paid less any transaction fees. No refunds will be available less than 24 hours before the rental’s start period. Rental periods start at 9 a.m. on the day of arrival. 

Cancellation Policy Because of Inclement Weather

For all services, there is a zero cancellation or refund policy due to inclement weather. Special consideration will be given in times of natural disaster or emergencies. Please contact us with details of your situation for consideration.
